WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR VISIT

The client-therapist relationship is essential to establishing a successful outcome by promoting willingness for the client to share and engage with the therapist. A focus on this dynamic promotes increased propensity toward self-awareness and change in behaviour, thoughts and beliefs.
As such, I view our relationship as a bridge. Together we will come up with a plan on where that bridge will lead and how to best get there. Our bridge may have a scenic route or a direct path. Either way I remind my clients that therapy is not a magic pill or a quick fix: therapy is a healing process that necessitates participation and investment from the patient and therapist alike. In our work, together we will identify road blocks in your life and come up with goals for our time.  During treatment I utilize an eclectic integration of  mindfulness, EFFT, CBT, DBT, narrative, ACT, trauma informed methodologies, tailored to your needs to reach your wellness goals.
